Students walking across a university campus

Alliances

Two institutions, one student.

We work with public schools, which open the field of work, and with higher education institutions, which open the door at the other end.

Schools

Secondary education institutions

Comprehensive support for eleventh-grade students, at no cost to the institution.

How it is formalized

An institutional agreement defining scope, participating groups, schedule, responsibilities and data handling.

What we provide
  • Individual assessment and work plan for each student.
  • Career guidance and measurement of outcomes.
  • Progress report for the institution.
  • A continuity path with partner higher education institutions.
What we ask for
  • Space and scheduling for the sessions.
  • An institutional contact in counseling or academic coordination.
  • Support in recruitment and in communication with guardians.
  • Management of the required informed consents.

Universities

Higher education institutions

Formal alliances aimed at reducing student dropout and at giving measurable substance to social responsibility commitments.

How it is formalized

An agreement defining the number and nature of the access benefits: scholarships, priority places, discounts, fee waivers or welfare support. These are always administered by the institution, under its own policies.

What we provide
  • Candidates with a prior assessment and documented evaluation of profile and context.
  • Academic and psychosocial support throughout the agreement.
  • Management of early dropout warnings.
  • Retention and performance reports, useful for institutional self-assessment.
What we ask for
  • The number of access benefits and their renewal conditions.
  • An institutional contact for admissions and monitoring.
  • Requirements, calendars and indirect costs of the program.
  • A joint evaluation at the end of each academic period.

Complementary services

Components of the process, available separately

Dropout does not begin at university. It begins before enrollment.

Scholarship calls assess what fits on a form: grades, test scores and socioeconomic classification. Those figures cannot anticipate whether a student will be able to sustain their studies, and no admissions office has the means to gather the ones that can.

For institutions that do not require the full alliance, the components of the process are available separately: strengthening the selection of scholarship recipients, career guidance in eleventh grade, or post-enrollment support.

Terms are defined jointly, according to scope and number of students.

Partners

Current agreements

The Foundation currently maintains four active alliances with higher education institutions, secondary schools and organizations that complement our support work.
